1. Agreement to terms

By using VideoArchiver (“the Service”), a product of Kannah Consulting, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. VideoArchiver is operated by Kannah Consulting, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

VideoArchiver links your Ring account and automatically transfers your Ring camera clips to third-party cloud storage you connect (Google Drive, Dropbox, or S3-compatible storage). VideoArchiver does not store, retain, or copy any video footage on its own infrastructure: clips stream from Ring’s servers to your configured storage.

The Service copies recordings that Ring makes. Ring records event video only with a Ring subscription plan (or Ring’s own free trial), which you buy from Ring separately; without an active Ring plan or trial there is nothing for the Service to archive.

3. User responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Ring account and your VideoArchiver account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. You are also responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the terms of service of any third-party platforms you connect, including Ring and your chosen cloud storage provider.

4. Third-party services and trademarks

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Ring (Amazon.com, Inc.), Google Drive (Google LLC), Dropbox (Dropbox, Inc.), and Amazon S3 (Amazon Web Services, Inc.). Ring is a trademark of Amazon.com, Inc. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. VideoArchiver is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ring, Amazon, Google, Dropbox, or any other third-party service provider. Your use of these third-party services remains subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to archive content that violates applicable laws or infringes on the rights of others. You agree not to attempt to circumvent any security measures, rate limits, or access controls of the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of this section at our sole discretion.

6. Subscription and billing

The Service offers a Free plan (50 events per device per calendar month, UTC) and a Pro plan ($2.99 per device per month, unlimited events), as described in our pricing section. Pro subscriptions are billed by Ring through the Ring Appstore, under Ring’s billing terms. Ring handles payments and any refund, and we cannot issue refunds ourselves.

On the Free plan, once a device reaches 50 events in a calendar month (UTC), that device’s clips are not archived until the next calendar month (UTC) begins, unless the device moves to the Pro plan.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kannah Consulting and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right.

10. Service availability and modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new Terms here and change the date at the top. If a change materially reduces your rights or raises what you pay, we will also email the address associated with your account before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings in the dashboard, which deletes your account data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if your account remains inactive for more than twelve months. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to limitation of liability, disclaimer of warranties, and indemnification.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
